Highgate Cricket Club is a paradise in the heart of North London – a field of dreams !
We are part of Highgate Cricket & Lawn Tennis Club, located in the beautiful, unspoilt Shepherd’s Cot, off Park Road, Crouch End, London N8 8JJ.
Our 1st XI play in Division 2 of the Middlesex County Cricket League, and we field 6 XIs on Saturdays, 2 on Sundays and 1 Midweek, providing league and friendly cricket to players of all ages and abilities.
Our vibrant Junior Section runs teams for Under 9s to Under 17s, with training delivered by ECB qualified coaches. We are a fun, inclusive and sociable club, and look forward to welcoming you!

We have designed our autumn programme around ability, experience and development, rather than simply age. Our aim is to make sure every player is in the right environment to learn, improve and enjoy their cricket.
π’ Monday | 6:00β7:30pm
Little Legends β U11s & Beginners
Designed for our younger players, generally U11 and below, as well as players up to 12 who are new to cricket or still developing their skills.
The session will combine fun group activities with age- and ability-appropriate coaching. At different points, players will be separated so that hard-ball players can work on hard-ball skills, while those progressing towards hard-ball cricket can develop their skills with a coach in a more suitable environment.
The focus: confidence, fundamentals, skill development and having fun.

U12βU15 Hard-Ball Development
This session is for established hard-ball cricketers, generally U12 to U15.
It is designed to challenge and develop players in a fun, competitive environment. Players will be split within the session according to ability and experience rather than age, ensuring everyone is challenged at the right level.
The focus: improving skills, competing, developing game awareness and taking the next step as a cricketer.

Senior Cricket Development
Designed for juniors who are already playing adult cricket.
There will be two nets, with players again separated according to level and experience. Sessions will include high-level fielding drills, technical batting and bowling coaching, and challenging game-based work.
Our aim is simple: we want our juniors playing senior cricket β and we want them to excel !

Getting the right player into the right learning environment is really important to us.
Age is only part of the picture β experience, ability and confidence matter too.
